We have a new process by which our member organizations can receive funding. Before, the process took forever because orgs would tell us they want money and there would be a large delay between them filling out the official paperwork, and when the money could be received. To eliminate the hassle, in our member orgs section there is a form to fill out that lets our executive director get started on the paperwork for you while you fill out the official form and also while our assembly decides how much to give. This speeds up the process greatly so we wil only be accepting funding requests this way from now on.
Also, the same funding rules still apply nonetheless. One new rule, we are not funding food at all this year because it doesn’t foster any of the ideals we believe in as an assembly. Unless the food is pertinent to the event like Beyond Books, then we will not fund it at all.
